What is online mixing & mastering?
In online mixing, sound recordings (music and speech) are post-processed and refined with effects, just like with normal mixing. In the same way, volume and panorama positions are set and the individual tracks are merged into a stereo sum.
Online mastering does not differ from conventional mastering from a sound point of view either. Your music receives the finishing touches and is optimally prepared for the medium (e.g. CD, YouTube or Spotify) of your choice.
What is the difference to conventional mixing and mastering?
First and foremost the data exchange! With our online mixing and mastering services, the transfer of your recorded tracks or your finished mix takes place entirely over the Internet. The advantages are obvious: there is no need for lengthy mail routes or traveling to the studio. This means an acceleration of the production processes and more flexible workflows, e.g. for revisions.
Live-Video Chat
Be live in the studio with our online services! We will connect with you, uncomplicated via Skype or FaceTime and you will hear live what we hear in the studio. Admittedly, the sound quality is not (yet) the same over the Internet, but discussing and trying out artistic wishes works extremely well.

How does online mixing work?
- Contact us using the contact form and describe your song. Let us know how long your song is playing, which genre you assign your music to and how many tracks your project has.
- Then we will ask you in our answer to leave us your traces. So upload all traces of your project to a file transfer service such as wetransfer.com or dopbox and send us the link to your files.
- After we’ve downloaded and checked your files, we’ll contact you and discuss the details of the mix. Here you can think in advance which elements of your song are particularly important for you.
- The actual online mixing begins in the fourth step. We get to work and create a mix of your song in which we implement your wishes and ideas discussed with us in the best possible way. You are welcome to take part in this process via video chat and thus be there live during the mix. This is real online mixing 🙂
- After we have finished the mix, you will receive a link to your mixed song. If you don’t like something, we are of course open to your change requests.
If everything is to your satisfaction, you will receive an invoice from us and pay conveniently by bank transfer.
How does online mastering work?
- Contact us using the contact form and describe your project. Let us know how long your songs are playing and which genre you assign your music to.
- We will then ask you in our answer to send us your mixed songs. So upload all the songs from your upcoming release to a file transfer service such as wetransfer.com or dopbox and send us the link to your files.
- After we have downloaded and checked your data, we will contact you and discuss the details of the mastering.
- Now the real online mastering begins. We get to work and master your songs. You are welcome to take part in this process via video chat and thus be there live during the mastering. Real online mastering 🙂
- After we have finished the master, you will receive a link to your finished production. If you don’t like something, we are of course open to your change requests.
